This is the HTMLs, JPGs, and GIFs needed to run Google Beta.
I did not make all the code, I made it so it is in a HTML file. I had to change A LOT of stuff. Sadly, I couldn't also get the classic search results, it goes back to present google. If you want to have a quick trip of nostalgia, download this.
There might be some bugs.

Install instructions
Unzip the file and launch the oldgoogle.html file. Keep all the contents in the same folder, the main folder that holds it all can be changed. If you don't have a HTML Viewer or a browser that will do it for you, get one.

no I downloaded and modified these directly from the wayback machine.
It doesn’t work because old Google doesn’t exist anymore and going to a web page will take you to modern day Google.
